JIM HAWKINS


Jim Hawkins believes everyone deserves access to the best care possible, and he’s making waves as he does it. For more than two decades, Jim has been reshaping how medical care is accessed, and with each success story (and there have been many), his passion grows.

Jim established Columbia Benefits in 2000 in Boise, ID. His experience with group self-funded medical plans, fully insured health, life, disability, and workplace benefit plans makes him uniquely gifted to lead the Columbia Benefits team. Jim believes his responsibility is to represent employer groups rather than soliciting business for specific insurance companies. As a result, patients get the care they need when they need it.

ANN HAWKINS


Years ago, Ann Hawkins took on one of the most challenging obstacles in healthcare—quick access to world-class care, even when patients live in rural communities. Ann wrestled with the problem, and she won.

In 2005, Ann Hawkins brought her platform technology and project management experience to the Columbia Benefits team. Ann leads the charge in the configuration and support of Columbia’s licensed benefit administration platform, which plays a significant role in client support. Columbia Benefits plays a unique liaison role between clients and carriers. Ann also assists administrators and plan members with resolving claim issues and interfaces with carriers when necessary.
